Walton Crime Watch: Heating Units Stolen, Solicitor Warned, Disorderly Conduct

CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: November 11, 2014

Zone 1
Damage to Property – Heater units were reported missing from two residences on Highway 138. Damages were also reported.

Arrest – David Brogan was arrested on Old Schoolhouse Rd. in reference to Disorderly Conduct.

Zone 2
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Monroe Jersey Rd. at H D Atha Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 3
Entering Auto – An inoperable vehicle was entered while on Laboon Rd. Items were taken from the vehicle.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Good Hope Rd. at Gene Bell Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Prowler – Suspicious noises were heard outside of a residence on Winfield Lane in the Windfield subdivision. Walton County deputies checked the area and nothing was found.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on New Hope Church Rd. at Double Springs Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Suspicious Person – A subject was warned after he was observed soliciting on White Oak Trace. The subject was advised to go to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office to obtain a solicitor identification permit.

Zone 6
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Kent Rock Rd. at Emmett Still Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Hwy 81 at Summit Baptist Church. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Zone 7
Arrest – Tony Davis was arrested on Old Highway 138 in reference to an outstanding warrant.
