Marlow's Tavern at Emory Point Celebrates Official Opening

 

                ATLANTA (January 30, 2013) – To commemorate the official opening of Marlow’s Tavern at Emory Point, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Thursday, January 24 at the new neighborhood restaurant located at 1627 Clifton Road. Marlow’s also took this opportunity to present Special Olympics Georgia with a check in the amount of $5,280 that was raised during the restaurant’s pre-opening week fundraiser.

                “This is a proud moment for the Marlow’s Tavern team,” says John C. Metz, chief executive officer, executive chef and co-founder of Sterling Hospitality. “We’re honored that the members of the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce were able to join us for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and excited that we were able to help raise money for Special Olympics Georgia, an organization that has meant so much to us over the years,” he adds.

                Marlow’s Tavern at Emory Point opened to the public on Tuesday, December 18. Prior to the opening, the restaurant hosted three “Sneak Preview” days, as well as a V.I.P. party to help introduce the restaurant to local residents and raise funds for Special Olympics Georgia. The popular neighborhood restaurant, known for its fresh, gourmet tavern fare and lively atmosphere, offers guests the perfect place to enjoy a memorable meal or hand-crafted cocktail.
