Inside Police Reports: Gibson Guitars Stolen in Apartment Burglary

More than $3,000 in items — including two Gibson guitars valued at $1,400 — were stolen in a recent apartment burglary in Peachtree Corners.

According to the Gwinnett Police incident report, a resident at Country Club Village Apartment on Country Club Village Lane told police someone broke through his bedroom window sometime between March 20 and 22 while he was out of town.

When he returned home, he found the apartment ransacked and several items were missing, including a Gibson electric guitar valued at $800 and a Gibson acoustic valued at $600. Also stolen were golf clubs, laptop and video game player.

There was no suspect information.
