• Pooler-Rescue firefighter placed on leave after alleged Del Sur attack (wsav.com) — A Pooler firefighter has been placed on unpaid administrative leave after police say he was arrested and charged with battery following an alleged fight at the Del Sur restaurant on Godley Station. According to the incident report, both men involved appeared highly intoxicated, and city officials say an internal investigation is underway while the firefighter remains free on bond.

Elijah Griffin says the college game now feels faster but more comfortable as he refines his technique and prepares to help the Bulldogs defend their SEC title this weekend.
