Leaders say a dedicated building would expand programs, support services, and gathering space, and they’re inviting residents to help through a brick campaign and building sponsorships.

• Richmond Hill man killed in shooting, Brunswick man arrested for murder (wjcl.com) — A Richmond Hill resident, 43-year-old James Randall Myers, was fatally shot Sunday in Brunswick, and a 20-year-old Brunswick man now faces a murder charge. Investigators say the suspect was caught after a brief foot chase and found with a stolen gun and vehicle, while state and local agencies continue probing what led to the killing.
