The statewide rankings highlight several northwest Georgia programs, but Ringgold's resurgence stands out as the Tigers eye another deep playoff run.
   

• GNTC Foundation awards fall 2026 scholarships (daily-tribune.com) — A Ringgold nursing student, Jennifer Mullens, is among 59 Georgia Northwestern Technical College students sharing more than $54,000 in fall 2026 scholarships and grants. The awards support a wide range of programs on nearby campuses, helping local residents cover tuition, supplies, and other education costs while preparing for in-demand careers across northwest Georgia.
