1. They Have the Right Man in Charge: Head Coach Tim McFarlin knows his way around the gridiron. In his first year at Blessed Trinity, McFarlin already has led the Titans to their best season in history with the potential for more. The coach is a Roswell institution, having led the Hornets of Roswell High to 82 wins and a state championship in 10 seasons from 1998 to 2007.
2. It's Titan Time: Blessed Trinity has put some competitive teams on the field in previous seasons, but has never been past the first round until this year. A win Friday would be a tipping-point moment for a program that is on the rise.

3. Don't Let 11-0 Fool You: No offense meant to Lamar County, but it's just not the same kind of undefeated team as Buford, which the Titans have had to face twice this season. This is new territory for Lamar, too. The Trojans has made three playoffs in a row, but only after back-to-back 1-9 seasons. This is not a juggernaut program.
4. Spencer and the Boys: Led by quarterback Spencer McManes, who passed for 185 yards and two TDs in last week's 44-19 win over Heard County in the first round, the Titans benefit from a balanced offensive attack. Jordan Denson, a 1,000-yard rusher, and productive receiver Chris Dore can give defenses fits trying to key on one area.
5. Big Game Hunters: The Titans have their first playoff win in history and wins over traditional region powers Lovett and Westminster, all in the same season. They're beginning to get this big game thing down.
