6th District Race: Early Voting Starts May 30 In North Fulton
Republican Karen Handel and Democrat Jon Ossoff continue to battle for the support of voters in Georgia's 6th Congressional District.

NORTH FULTON COUNTY, GA -- North Fulton residents will soon be able to head to the polls and make their choice official in the race to fill the hotly contested Congressional race that has all eyes on the Peach State. Early voting in the special election runoff to fill Georgia's 6th Congressional District seat will kick off Tuesday across North Fulton as well as parts of DeKalb and Cobb counties.
You can vote ahead of the June 20 runoff from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 30 through Friday, June 16. Saturday voting will be held June 3 and June 10; citizens will not be able to venture to early voting locations to cast ballots on Sundays.

Election Day for the 6th District runoff between Democrat Jon Ossoff and Republican Karen Handel will be Tuesday, June 20.
Another caveat in the race that attracting national attention: Fulton County has changed 12 polling locations due to "unforeseen circumstances." The county has mailed 109,296 notification letters to households affected by the sudden decision, and north Fulton residents are strongly encouraged to verify if this will impact their trip to the polls, it said.

All voters who registered to vote by the May 21 deadline and who live in the district are eligible to vote in the June 20 runoff, even if they did not vote in the April 18 special election.
