Better Breathers Club in Roswell

The American Lung Association and Foundation Therapy Center are hosting an “Ask the Doctor” event in Roswell. Sachin Lavania, MD, a pulmonary specialist with North Fulton Regional Hospital will answer lung health questions during the Better Breathers Club meeting on September 10, 2014 at 1 pm. Foundation Therapy Center, located at 11660 Alpharetta Highway, Suite 560, hosts Better Breathers Club the first Wednesday of each month. It is free to attend.

Dr. Lavania received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He is a board-certified physician. Dr. Lavania has dedicated his career to helping his patients “breathe easier” and maintain a good quality of life. ”We are really excited to have Dr. Lavania speak at our meeting,” said Beverly Stegman, administrator with Foundation Therapy Center. “He will helpful information related to lung disease management and answer lung health questions. Providing education and coping strategies is the foundation of Better Breathers Club.”

For nearly 30 years, the American Lung Association has been providing information and support to people with chronic lung disease through Better Breathers Club. The Better Breathers Club provides an opportunity for lung disease patients and their families to meet and lean about their condition from health care professionals in a supportive environment.
