Halloween Activities in Roswell
A breakdown of some of Roswell's Halloween activities! Are there others not listed here? Comment here and let us know!
You don't have to travel far to get in some great Halloween activities this October!
Paranoia Haunted House is back again, this time in a different location. Check them out in the Roswell Town Center Shopping Center at 608 Holcomb Bridge Road. Paranoia Haunted House features two attractions, shocking special effects and horrifying live actors. You will walk unguided through their hallways and face your worst fears. Here is the breakdown:
- Trauma Center:
Beware of the medical staff, as they are not what they seem. A simple trip to the hospital takes a turn for the worse. Demented doctors and sadistic nurses use patients for their own sick experiments. The outcome is never, ever good. Some die as others are sent to the Insane Asylum and the savagery continues. There is simply no good ending to this story.

- The Darkside:
Do you fear what hides in the cloak of darkness? When the cold sweat awakens you from the horrors of your nightmares, do the tormenting images flashing through your mind really dissipate? No. They come to life in the Darkside. Hold on to the lifeline and take the journey through the Darkside, where what you cannnot see is your worst fear.
Looking for a more family-friendly activity? Take the kiddos out The Fringe miniature golf course on the backside of the Roswell Town Center shopping center, at 5100 Commerce Parkway. Their miniature golf course (two courses, 36 holes) is already fully decorated for Halloween! Area 51 is a complete family entertainment center that houses both The Fringe miniature golf course and Aurora Cineplex.

Also back in town is the long running House on Horror Hill, brought to you by the North Fulton Jaycees. For one night only, on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m., adults can get dressed up in Halloween costumes and have a hauntingly good time on the grounds of Bulloch Hall at their annual Sip of the South event! The cost, $45 per person (reservations required), gets you live music, open bar, costume contest with prizes and a BBQ dinner at the beautiful antebellum mansion and grounds!
Of course, Roswell Ghost Tour operates year-round, as their interest in ghosts and the paranormal isn't regulated to just the month of October! On the way to any of these attractions, make a point to drive down Roswell's Canton Street to check out this year's scarecrows.
The 4th Annual Boo Y'all Scarecrow Contest is fully underway! Local merchants, schools, churches, synagogues, civic organizations, non-profits, supporters of Alive After 5 and the Roswell Cycling Festival are all taking part. Voting locations will be throughout the district and you can push your supporters to the voting locations to 'vote' for your scarecrow. Winners of the scarecrow contest will be announced at this month's Alive After 5 on Oct. 18. Make sure to head out to historic Roswell for this and take a trolley over to Roswell's Town Square! Alive After 5 has recently expanded over to the Town Square where there are art vendors, live music in the bandstand, and amazing food trucks!
