UPDATE: "Extensive Water Damage" Closes Roswell Adult Recreation Center

A city spokesperson said several areas throughout the facility at 830 Grimes Bridge Road suffered damage from an 8-inch water line break.

The Roswell Adult Recreation Center will remain closed through next week as the city works to repair damage caused by a broken 8-inch water main line in the facility’s ceiling.

The center suffered “extensive water damage” in several areas throughout the facility, including the computer room, billiards room, art room, computer room and hallways, city spokesperson Julie Brechbill said late Friday afternoon.

The center will be closed through Sunday, Jan. 18 for repairs, Brechbill added.
