All About Nature Social Club Field Trip - Etowah Indian Mounds

Join our quarterly field trip!  Spend the morning exploring the Etowah Indian Mounds with like-minded folks.  Home to several thousand Native Americans between 1000 A.D. to 1550 A.D., this 54-acre site contains six earthen mounds, a plaza, and village area, borrow pits and defensive ditch. This is the most intact Mississippian Culture site in the Southeastern United States.  Please join us to explore the mounds and tour the museum where exhibits interpret daily life in the once self-sufficient community. Ages 16 – Adult.
Additional information including carpooling and cost is available on our website: www.chattnaturecenter.org/All-About-Nature-Social -Club.html
