Saturday, July 16, 10:00 am to 2:00 PM Sunday, July 17 from 12 to 5 PM The Flying Colors Butterfly Festival delights everyone all weekend at the Chattahoochee Nature Center when the air fills with the beating wings of hundreds of beautiful butterflies! Enjoy live music, create arts and crafts, have butterflies painted on your face and visit fascinating entomology exhibits. Witness nature's marvelous pollinators and enjoy the most magnificent show as they land on people and nearby flowers at our butterfly releases. Kids can dress in costumes and wear their butterfly wings and antenna to march in our butterfly parades at the conclusion of festivities each day. Native plants that attract butterflies will be on sale for our avid gardeners.
