ROSWELL, GA -- Roswell police are investigating a fatal accident that killed the driver of a taxi cab.

Officers were dispatched around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 to a single-vehicle crash in the 100 block of Jade Cove Drive, which sits off Warsaw Road.
Initial reports indicate a Honda CRV struck a stone mailbox and overturned, spokesperson Zachary Frommer said.

The driver, identified as Jose D. Guerrero, 59, of Roswell, was pronounced dead at the scene. Guerrero was driving a taxi cab belonging to Roswell-based Monarcas Taxi, Frommer added.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Roswell Police Department's Traffic Enforcement Unit, but an initial look into the accident reveals the crash was "related to a medical issue," Frommer added.
