Fulton To Review 4 Middle School Attendance Zones At Community Forum (patch.com) — Families in Roswell and nearby cities are being asked to weigh in as Fulton County Schools reviews middle school attendance zones for several north Fulton campuses, including Elkins Pointe in Roswell. A public forum at Centennial High School in Roswell will gather feedback on potential boundary changes and possible consolidations or closures, though no decisions have been made yet.
   

2. 17 Eerily Fun Ghost Tours in Atlanta & Georgia (mommypoppins.com) — Roswell families can join the long-running Roswell Ghost Tour, which departs from the town square across from the Visitor Center and winds through Historic Roswell and Founders Cemetery on 2.5-hour evening walks. Tours run Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., with extra October dates, and proceeds support local restoration projects. The roundup also highlights other ghost tours across metro Atlanta, Macon, and Savannah for Halloween-season fun.
   

3. Georgia Pre-K Week brings literacy push to Roswell as state works to improve reading scores (wsbtv.com) — Young children at Building Kidz of Roswell just got a special visit from author-athletes Malcolm Mitchell and Coy Bowles, who read their new book as part of Georgia Pre-K Week. The statewide literacy push aims to boost reading skills by reaching kids before kindergarten, and every Georgia Pre-K student will receive a copy to read at home with their families.
   

4. Roswell Couple Killed in Crash Saturday in Franklin County (921wlhr.com) — A Roswell couple in their early 60s died Saturday after their car hydroplaned on wet I-85 pavement in Franklin County and struck a tree, according to state troopers. Both were taken to a local hospital, where they later died; investigators say driver impairment is not suspected. Local readers may recognize the victims as longtime Roswell residents.
