Every week, I pick high-school football games that are played in Patch coverage areas from Stone Mountain to Cumming.
Check out this week's predictions, then let us know how you think your team will fare in the comment box below ... if you dare.

at West Forsyth: This Region 6-AAAAA game features two teams heading in different directions. The West Forsyth Wolverines have been impressive in a 4-0 start, but they have yet to face a top-tier team. Centennial is 1-3, but are just a handful of plays away from being 3-1. With region playoff berths up for grabs — behind West Forsyth and Alpharetta, the five other 6-AAAAA teams are a combined 3-17 — every league win will be extremely important. West Forsyth 26, Centennial 20.

at North Forsyth: The season isn’t over for either of these 0-4 teams. At least two of the five 6-AAAAA teams currenty with overall records of 1-3 or worse WILL make the playoffs in the end. Neither of these teams can afford a loss right now. Roswell 20, North Forsyth 10.
at Greater Atlanta Christian: There may be only one team in Class AA that’s playing better than Greater Atlanta Christian — Buford, GAC's Region 6-AA rival. The Spartans (4-0) are coming off blowout wins over Holy Innocents’ and Westminster, games some felt would be much closer than they were. Blessed Trinity, which lost to 14-9 to state-ranked (Class AAA) Grady two weeks ago in a game it should have won, is 1-2 and is really much better than the record. The Titans can play with the Spartans. Maybe not for four quarters, however. GAC 30, Blessed Trinity 18.
at Wesleyan: Eyebrow-raising is the way to react to Wesleyan’s shutout loss to Holy Innocents’ last week. The Wolves are used to putting points up on the board, and, well, what’s up with that? Fellowship (2-1), which lost 37-25 to King’s Ridge last week, would take a big step if it can beat the Wolves, a state semifinalist last year. That may be too tall a task. Wesleyan 27, Fellowship Christian 14.
