Man Arrested In Stabbing Death Of Woman At Child's Party: Police
Roswell Police have arrested Pedro Navarro-Zelaya, 44, for the fatal stabbing of his ex-girlfriend last Saturday at a child's party.

ROSWELL, Ga. — A man has been arrested for murder after he stabbed a woman to death outside a child's birthday party on Saturday, May 18, according to Roswell Police.
Pedro Navarro-Zelaya, 44, of Roswell, was booked-in to the Fulton County Jail Thursday, May 23 on the charge of murder in the stabbing death of Margarita Cabrera-Maldonado.
Roswell Police Sgt. Britney Rodgers said at 8 p.m. on May 18, officers responded to a stabbing at Dalia's Events, 10479 Alpharetta Hwy. According to investigators, the suspect, Navarro-Zelaya, approached the victim during a child's birthday party. Navarro-Zelaya stabbed the victim multiple times, then stabbed himself in the chest.

The victim, Margarita Cabrera-Maldonado, 42, of Roswell, was transported to Wellstar North Fulton Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
Pedro Navarro-Zelaya was apprehended at the scene and transported to Wellstar North Fulton Hospital for self-inflicted injuries.

According to investigators, Maldonado and Navarro-Zelaya were in a relationship that ended approximately one year ago.
