NORTH FULTON COUNTY, GA, -- Love it or hate it, New Year's Eve is happening again this year. Whether you plan to ring in 2018 at your favorite restaurant, a buzzing party with your friends, or all cozied up in front of the TV, we've got you covered.

• The Atlanta New Year's Eve Peach Drop will be held at Woodruff Park in downtown. Click here to learn more about this popular event.
• Ring in 2018 at Topgolf Alpharetta where you can enjoy live entertainment, a chef-inspired menu and an unforgettable midnight celebration. • This New Year’s Eve, Osteria Mattone at 1028 Canton Street in Roswell is planning the ultimate throwback party! Here’s the skinny on the get-down: for $59 per person, all will bust a grub at executive chef Eric Sell’s Boogie-Down Buffet and Sommelier Daniel’s Mellow Midnight Toast! Can you dig it!? The bar will open at 8:30 p.m. to start the night off right with some luscious libations, and Osteria’s bar team will be groovin’ and shakin’ drinks a la carte ’til midnight! • Pontoon Brewing in Sandy Springs is also getting in on the fun. Brew Year's Eve kicks off at 8:30 p.m., and includes your pick of all Pontoon Brewing seasonal craft beers and year-round favorites plus red and white wine; midnight champagne toast; music, two different areas to explore the brewery; NYE Party favors; late-night pork slider snack and a Brew Year's Eve souvenir cup (free parking will be available at the venue but don't drink and drive). • New Year's Eve Great Gatsby Gala at Ray's On The River. Join Ray's on the River for a night of elegance to ring in 2018. The New Year's Eve Great Gatsby Gala, which begins at 9:30 p.m., includes an open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, live music by a 5-piece band, dancing, a midnight Champagne toast and balloon drop. • Step into the New Year in grand style with Atlanta's 14th Annual Downtown Countdown at 200 Peachtree, the event space in the Southern Exchange building at 200 Peachtree St. NW. • The Buckhead Ball is returning with headliner Kap Slap and the addition of the Silent Disco room upstairs with three live DJs spinning at the same time. • Duluth New Year's Eve Extravaganza: Duluth's New Year's Eve Extravaganza is an annual event where the City of Duluth rings in the new year with residents in a family-friendly atmosphere. The downtown event is free to the public and consists of activities, music, food, and great entertainment, wrapped up with a firework show and the rise of the Duluth icon.
• New Year's Dance Party "007 Meets 2018" is the theme for this year's dance party at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast in Peachtree Corners. Sponsored by Salsa ATL and Dancing4Fun, In addition to the dancing, there will be a three-course dinner and midnight ball drop with champagne toast.
• Lanier Islands New Year's Eve Celebration Food, entertainment, fireworks and overnight deals are in the cards if you want to head up to the lake for New Year's. Visitors will check in at the lodge, then be taken by shuttle to a party at Peachtree Pointe overlooking Lake Lanier. Buffet dinner, open bar and music from Party Nation, an eight-piece band, will ring in 2018, along with a fireworks show over Lake Lanier.
• New Year's Eve Celebration at The Inn Chateau Elan is offering special packages for New Year's. If you stay at the resort, you can get in on a New Year's Eve cocktail reception, six-hour open bar, four-course dinner with wine service, party favors and champagne at midnight and live music. The package also includes a New Year's Day breakfast buffet.
• New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball Porche' Weddings and Special Events is hosting a masquerade to ring in the new year at JVC Event Hall in Lilburn. • Ring in the New Year with Dance Hall Decatur, the DeKalb History Center's holiday extravaganza. It features a professional DJ playing all your favorite dance hits. The party takes place on Sunday, Dec. 31, from 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Historic DeKalb Courthouse, at 101 East Court Square in Decatur. Why you should watch: For the first time ever, Anderson Cooper will host CNN's annual New Year's Eve Live special with none other than "Watch What Happens Live" host Andy Cohen. As these two are best friends in real life, you can expect tons witty banter and hilarious moments from the pair. The Bravo mogul will replace Cooper's former co-host Kathy Griffin, whom CNN fired after her controversial Donald Trump photoshoot.

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2018" Hosted by Ryan Seacrest

Where to catch it: ABC

Why you should watch: Remember last year's infamous Mariah Carey mic incident? Yes, it happened on Seacrest's watch. So if that's any indication, this could be a good one to tune-in to. And even if there aren't any crazy celebrity snafus, you can count on crazy views of Time Square packed with people, as well as awesome musical performances.
