Police Identify Woman Found Dead Outside Roswell Home

ROSWELL, GA -- Police in Roswell continue to investigate the grim discovery of a woman's body on the front lawn of a home Tuesday afternoon.

The body of the woman, identified as 53-year-old Karen Lee LaForge of Johns Creek, was found around 1:30 p.m. Jan. 17 outside a home in the 500 block of Tyson Circle.

Tyson Circle sits off Old Alabama Road east of S.R. 400. Roswell police previously told Patch the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Officers were notified of the death when a person inside the home called 911, the agency said.

The cause of death remains unknown at this time, and the investigation remains active. Return to Patch for updates.
