Roswell police spokesperson Zachary Frommer said the suspect forced the woman onto the bed at gunpoint while he looked through her valuables, which was ”generally cash and jewelry.”
The victim received minor injuries, and investigators believe the suspect came through an unlocked back door after ringing the doorbell, Frommer stated.
The perpetrator was described as a thin back male, about 5’11, between 35 and 40 years old, wearing a dark hoodie zipped up to his chin and armed with a handgun.
Frommer added that the morning of the incident, around 9 a.m., the woman reported seeing two men she did not recognize in the cul-de-sac near her home.
Frommer also noted it’s possible the subject(s) walked through the woods from Riverside Road. Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious is asked to call Roswell police at (770) 640-4100.
