Brown was moved to Emory from North Fulton Hospital in Roswell earlier this week. She had been in a medically induced coma since she was rushed to the Roswell hospital following the 911 call made around 10:25 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31.
Roswell officers and crews with the city’s Fire and Rescue Department responded to the call of a drowning at the home on Riverbend Manor, which sits off Holcomb Bridge Road.
Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland said Brown’s boyfriend and friend found the woman face-down and unresponsive in a tub inside the home and started CPR.
Police and fire crews took over life-saving measures once they arrived onto the scene, and Brown, 21 was transported to the Roswell hospital for treatment.
Holland said police are considering approaching the case as medically-related, and investigators have found nothing to indicate Brown’s condition was caused by drugs or alcohol.
