Roswell To Convert Elizabeth Way To Two-Way Street
The changes will take place 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 1-2.

The Roswell Department of Transportation will soon make changes to Elizabeth Way in downtown Roswell.
The agency will convert the street from one-way travel to two-way travel from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, April 1-2.
Elizabeth Way currently only allows westbound travel from Alpharetta Highway to Canton Street. Once the project is completed, the road will allow eastbound access to Alpharetta Street, as well. Drivers will be able to turn right onto Alpharetta Street, but left turns (northbound) will remain prohibited.

Elizabeth Way and the parking spaces on the storefront (north) side of the street will remain open during construction.
The nine parking spaces on the side of Elizabeth Way facing Heart of Roswell Park will be blocked off to reorient the parking spaces in order to accommodate two-way traffic. This process includes implementing new pavement striping and modifying signage.

Construction is only expected to require one work day, weather permitting.
