  • Oil-based paint: On Nov. 3, the Recycling Center will begin accepting oil-based paint (latex paint is already accepted). Paint must be liquid, in the original can with the original label, with lid firmly in place. This service will be available to Roswell residents only.
  • Extended shredding hours: Starting Nov. 7, document shredding will extend to include Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for Roswell residents. There is a limit of two copy paper sized boxes per vehicle per visit. All clips must be removed and papers should not be in folders or notebooks.
  • Atlanta Humane Society Drive: The entire month of November, the Recycling Center will be collecting gently used, clean sheets, towels and blankets for the Atlanta Humane Society’s Alpharetta/Roswell location.

A program of Keep America Beautiful, America Recycles Day is a nationally- recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling. Residents are encouraged to take the Recycling Pledge online.
