Roswell Finance Director Resigns
Keith Lee's last day with the city is Friday, June 9.

ROSWELL, GA -- Another city of Roswell department head has tendered his resignation to city leaders.
Keith Lee's last day as finance director with the city was Friday, June 9. In a letter written to Assistant City Administrator Michael Fischer, Lee said he submitted his resignation "with both regret and anticipation."
"Thank you for the opportunities for professional and personal development that you have provided me during the last several years," he writes. "My experience with the city of Roswell will have lasting memories, and the people I have worked with are an exceptional group."

Lee's resignation follows former City Administrator Kay Love leaving her post in May and former Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Director Morgan Rodgers resigning in March.
Love left the city to go work for the Georgia Municipal Association while Rodgers accepted a post with the city of Alpharetta.

The city said in a statement that it will proceed "as normal" following Lee's departure. According to its personnel policy, the city can fill the job of finance director by way of promoting current employees or opening the application process to the general public and existing employees.
With respect to filling the city administrator position, city spokesperson Karen Zitomer noted Roswell is very early in the recruitment process for candidates.
