Another Victim Comes Forward After Roswell Man Accused Of Molesting Multiple Children

ROSWELL, GA — A Roswell man who’s already facing multiple child sexual abuse crimes has had another victim come forward, police said.

Rodney Damen, 55, was arrested in Fulton County on child molestation, child pornography and child indecency charges Oct. 20. He’s being held without bond. Last month, investigators said they believed Damen had more victims so police issued a public notice for more possible victims to come forward.

Now that there’s another victim, Damen faces additional counts of misdemeanor sexual battery and first-degree cruelty to children, Roswell detectives announced Wednesday.

The latest victim came forward after seeing news reports about Damen’s arrest, investigators said.

Damen became a suspect last year after an out-of-state youth reported allegations of sexual abuse, investigators said. Damen was first charged with aggravated child molestation, child pornography and enticing a child for indecent purposes, according to police.

In October his home on the 500 block of Jasmine Parkway was searched. Multiple electronic devices were seized. Authorities charged Damen with two additional counts of child pornography after analyzing those devices, police said.
