Roswell Police Make Arrests From Easter Sunday Street Racing: Reports

Street racers, along with a crowd, took over the intersection of Houze Road and Rucker Road on Sunday night, according to Roswell police.

ROSWELL, GA — Roswell police are working to crack down on street racing at a busy intersection. Three participants from Easter Sunday have been caught and charged, reported WSB-TV.

On Sunday around 7 p.m. drivers and a crowd of onlookers were at the intersection of Houze Road and Rucker Road, police said. They said investigators are looking into the “intersection takeover and reckless driving” event. Anyone with additional photos and videos are asked to send to TrafficEnforcement@roswellgov.com.

The department expects to charge more, reported WSB-TV.

Drivers, bystanders and those who record and post the reckless driving are all targeted now, under the city’s most recent ordinance, according to the news station.
