Roswell UMC To Host Garage Sale Extravaganza

ROSWELL, GA — Roswell United Methodist Church will hold its annual Garage Sale Extravaganza early next month to raise money for its program that helps area residents find jobs.

An early-bird sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2. You can take part in this sale by making a $10 donation to the church. Regular sale hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3 and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 in the church fellowship hall.

The garage sale will have thousands of items for sale, including furniture, books, collectibles, art and frames, jewelry, household items, seasonal items, linens, craft items, baskets, vases, outdoor furniture, sports items, children’s toys and clothes, and adult apparel.

Cash is accepted as well as credit cards ($2 convenience fee). Bring your friends and neighbors to find some incredible deals. This year, organizers are adding a bake sale to accompany garage sale hours on Aug. 3. You can expect to savor some home-baked cakes, pies, cookies and other delights.
