A teenager suffered non-life threatening injuries when he was hit while crossing the street from Roswell High School.

The 17-year-old male was crossing the street from the school on King Road when he was struck by a car, said Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland.
Holland said the driver of the car was also from Roswell High School. The patient was transported to an area hospital for treatment, Holland added.

While the accident remains under investigation, Holland said it appears the victim “darted out in front of the car.”
“The driver was not at fault with this accident,” she added. ”It is still under investigation; however, there most likely will not be any charges (filed).”
