Term Limits Advocate Seeks Congressional Seat
Kurt Wilson of Roswell hopes to represent north Fulton and parts of Dekalb and east Cobb counties in the U.S. House of Representatives.
ROSWELL, GA -- A Roswell resident and business owner has announced his intentions to run for Georgia's 6th Congressional District seat.
Kurt Wilson said he will launch his bid for the seat, which is expected to be vacated when Rep. Tom Price is confirmed to serve as secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services for President Donald Trump.
Wilson notes he's an advocate for a constitutional amendment that would restructure congressional terms and impose term limits.

“Whether you were for or against President Trump, whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, a Libertarian or an Independent, it is important to recognize and celebrate that President Trump’s campaign proved the out-of-control political machine in Washington, D.C. is, in fact, vulnerable," he said. "There is hope. There is real opportunity to break into a system that has outgrown its purpose and build a modern, representative government."
Georgia's 6th Congressional District includes north Fulton, east Cobb and parts of DeKalb County.

Wilson is president of NA Foodservice, a multi-unit licensee for fast casual Zaxby's restaurant group. He's also partners in a commercial real estate company and owner of a premium cigar shop with lounge.
Wilson lives in Roswell with his wife and four daughters. A native of Alabama, metro Atlanta has been his home for more than 31 years. Wilson is active in St. David’s Episcopal Church having served on its vestry and serves as vice chairman of the Brookfield Country Club.
