#WyWyStrong: Harlem Globetrotters Bring Smile To Roswell Boy's Face
Two stars of the famous organization visited the home of Wyatt Pope, who is battling an aggressive form of cancer.
ROSWELL, GA -- A Roswell child battling an aggressive form of cancer had the chance to mingle with members of a famous team of athletes known for playing the sport of basketball in a fun, family-friendly environment.
Harlem Globetrotter stars Buckets Blakes and Moose Weekes paid a visit to Wyatt Pope, a seven-year-old boy battling DSRCT, or Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor.
DSRCT is a rare cancer that primarily manifests itself as masses in a person's abdomen.

Wyatt's battle, which has sparked the creation of an online campaign made famous by the #WyWyStrong hashtag, came on the Globetrotter's radar when a friend of the Pope family reached out to the organization through its Great Assist program.
The friend asked if the team could send a picture or video in support of Wyatt. The team decided that wasn't enough.

With the Globetrotters in town for upcoming games in Duluth and Atlanta, Blakes and Weekes spent an hour smiling and laughing with their new young friend in the living room of his Roswell home.
They presented Wyatt with a personalized jersey with his nickname, “Hulk,” and favorite number, 99. They also put on a personal ball handling show for Wyatt and his family.
The Globetrotters provided tickets for Wyatt’s father and three siblings to see the Globetrotters at Philips Arena, where they will play two games March 12-13. Wyatt, who is between chemotherapy treatments this week, will not be healthy enough to attend the game, unfortunately.
You can see Harlem Globetrotters games at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13 at Philips Arena. More info at can be found online at www.harlemglobetrotters.com/atlanta.
