GA Top News: Hurricane Dorian Hits, How To Help, Tyler Perry Aid

Hurricane Dorian was the major focus for many in Georgia this week, from preparing to it hitting the coast Thursday, and now recovering.

GEORGIA — Top stories this week in Georgia revolved around the deadly Hurricane Dorian, which hit Georgia's coast Thursday. Savannah and Chatham County were prepared and closed many roads, schools and government agencies throughout the week, while also setting up a curfew. As Friday came around, residents were able to begin returning home and start to clean up what Dorian left. Events are planned in the coming days to help victims, especially those in the Bahamas.
