Each year, the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs and the Sandy Springs Foundation, Inc. chooses among exemplary student applicants, many of whom are members in the Rotary Interact Clubs at North Springs Charter High School, Riverwood International Charter School and Mt. Vernon Presbyterian High Schools, whose Interact Clubs are sponsored by the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs.

In some instances, one $5,000 college scholarship or two $2,500 college scholarships have been awarded.

Monies are paid directly to the college, university or technical school where the winner(s) attend. Selection criteria can include participation in Interact, high scholastic achievement, and personal exemplification of both the tenets of Rotary International’s Four Way Test and its motto, “Service Above Self.”

The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs has a 44-year history of service both internationally and locally to the Sandy Springs community. Lunch meetings are held most Mondays at 12:15 p.m. at the Hilton Perimeter Suites on Peachtree Dunwoody Road.
