Search Continues For Missing Georgia Toddler Presumed Dead: Police
Police have named Quinton Simon's mother as the prime suspect in his disappearance and death.

SAVANNAH, GA — The search for Quinton Simon, the 20 month old Savannah toddler who disappeared and is believed to be dead, will continue, Chatham County Police Chief Jeff Hadley said Thursday.
"It will continue with every available resource we have in order to give Quinton’s family closure and see that justice is served in this case," Hadley said.
Quinton went missing from his Buckhalter Road home since Oct. 5, and police said his mother, Leilani Simon, is now the prime suspect in his disappearance and death.

"We know that thousands of people around the world will be heartbroken by this news, and we share your sorrow," Chatham County police said.
Law enforcement led an aggressive search for the toddler, being joined by more than 40 FBI agents and volunteers.
Will Clark, senior supervisory resident agent in charge of the FBI’s Savannah and Brunswick offices, said agents have been working "tirelessly and continuously."
Since the start of the case, Hadley said an outpouring of support has been received and that his department is committed to following procedures correctly.
"We only get one shot at this," he said. "We’re going to do this right."
