Quinton Simon: All Angles Being Explored In Dayslong Search
The 20-month-old toddler has been missing in Chatham County since Oct. 5.

SAVANNAH, GA — All angles are being explored in the dayslong search for Savannah toddler Quinton Simon, which is being investigated both as a missing child case and as a criminal case, Chatham County Police Chief Jeff Hadley said at a news conference Monday.
Quinton, who is 20 months old, was last seen around 6 a.m. Oct. 5 at his home in the 500 block of Buckhalter Road.
Hadley said everyone who is known to have been in contact with Quinton recently is being interviewed and all perspectives are being examined.

"We understand that people far beyond Chatham County have become emotionally invested in this incident and the search for Quinton, and they want answers," Hadley said. "We are committed to finding those answers, and we are committed to finding Quinton."
Teams with the FBI joined Chatham County police and volunteers in the search for the toddler. Hadley said the FBI sent more than 40 agents and personnel to collaborate with the police department on the case.

Crews have been working 18-hour days in their search for Quinton, he said.
"We are all hands on deck," Hadley said.
Police previously said an Amber Alert has not been issued because no evidence of abduction has been found.
Officers were retracing their footsteps Monday and searching areas previously looked at in case clues were missed, he said. The home where Quinton was last seen is included as part of the search.
"We want to make sure we get this right," Hadley said.
Quinton's grandparents, Thomas and Billie Jo Howell, told WJCL 22 that they want answers in this case.
"We just want to know something," Thomas Howell told the outlet.
Billie Jo Howell said she wants Quinton home.
"I don't think anybody ever believes that this is going to happen to them," she told WJCL.
A new tip line has been set up relating to Quinton's case. Police said the line directly connects to a detective. People can call (912) 667-3134. Police ask callers to leave a voicemail if no one answers.
People who believe they may have seen Quinton can also call 911.
