'Get your kids before the streets get them': Savannah leaders hold community walk following shootings (wtoc.com) — Savannah leaders and police flooded the Live Oak neighborhood for a community walk just a day after three separate shootings, stressing parental responsibility and neighborhood cooperation to curb youth violence. Officials called gang activity a public safety emergency and urged anyone with information about Tuesday's gunfire to contact police or Crimestoppers.

Law enforcement focusing on possible suspect in string of Savannah burglaries (wjcl.com) — Savannah police say they may be close to identifying a suspect in a string of Starland District commercial burglaries and are reviewing a man already jailed in a separate case. Housed in a new multidisciplinary lab, the robot will support student projects in fields like computer science and mechanical engineering, and you may soon spot it heading to class or roaming campus alongside students.
   

5. Savannah Aces open to partnership with new IFL team (wsav.com) — Savannah is getting a new Indoor Football League team, and local semi-pro squad Savannah Aces say they're open to partnering or trying out for roster spots. Team co-owner Bryan Caracciolo reports huge interest from players, and the franchise has already hired former Jacksonville Sharks defensive coordinator Clay Harrell as its first head coach.
