Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:
- Savannah's public swimming pools will open on May 21 and remain open until July 30. Pool hours will reportedly vary based on the pool's location, however. Click the link for the full list of public pool locations and hours of operation to ensure you stay cool this summer. (WSAV-TV)
- Savannah-Chatham schools are working on a budget to present to the state board of education. The budget will reportedly outline how the schools intend to spend the funds they were given by the American Rescue Plan Act. The district was rewarded roughly $99 million by the federal act. (WTOC)
- Savannah Police Chief Roy Minter has decided to address the recent survey results. The in-depth survey was meant to provide the department with data regarding the department's performance and community perception.
