Apple Store Coming to Cumberland Mall

After months of rumors, speculation, and wild guesses, the Cumberland Community Improvement District (CID) has finally confirmed that an Apple Store is coming to Cumberland Mall.

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Cumberland CID confirmed the move via newsletter. Tomorrow’s News Today reports that the 7,300 sq. ft. store will open on the first level of Zone E, directly below the Best Buy mobile store near center court. The new store will be the second-largest of its kind in Georgia; only Lenox Square’s Apple Store is larger, at 8,100 sq. ft.

Cumberland Mall’s Apple Store is slated for a mid-to-late fall opening, before the holiday shopping rush begins.
