Here are the top three stories in Smyrna-Vinings today:
- The Atlanta City Council voted to delay enforcement against short-term vacation rentals to Mar. 6, 2023. The ordinance requires owners of rentals on sites like Airbnb to get a permit from the city. Local groups, including the Atlanta Metro Short Term Rental Alliance, have previously challenged the city's short-term rental ordinance. (Subscriptoin: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
- The Sandy Springs Police Department is participating in a program aimed at reducing catalytic converter thefts. With this program, community members can schedule a free appointment at select automotive stores on Roswell Road, in nearby Sandy Sr to have their vehicle identification number etched onto the catalytic converter.
