First, today's weather:

Some sun with a thunderstorm. High: 88 Low: 71.

Here are the top three stories in Smyrna-Vinings today:

  1. How clean is your favorite restaurant? Cobb & Douglas Department of Public Health released scores for the week of Jun. 27 for local joints. Solid scores went around, but Blue Moon Pizza received a C and Rio Steakhouse and Bakery received a B. Eataliano Pizza Kitchen Bar got a whopping 99! Click the link to see more. (East Cobb News)
  2. Cobb County released a list of road closures for the next week. Barnes Mill Road will close for Cobb-Marietta Water Authority from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. while crews work to complete the Blackjack Mountain Project.   3. It's time to prepare for some growing pains. The Georgia Department of Transportation is looking for public input on the rebuild of the I-285 interchange at I-20 west of Atlanta. The department is asking nearby residents and other interested parties to give their input on the planning of the project.
