The July 24 robbery was the second of three bank robberies allegedly committed by Boast since July 17, Cobb police said; on July 17, Boast allegedly walked into the SunTrust Bank inside the Publix on Johnson Ferry Road at approximately 11 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money. Once he got the money, he fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

On July 28, a man walked into the Fifth Third Bank on Roswell Road at approximately 3:30 p.m. and gave a demand note to the teller on duty, Cobb police said. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect was described as a white male who stood 5’9” tall and weighed approximately 170 pounds. He was described as being in his mid 20’s. He had red hair and a scruffy beard. He also had “fair skin” and freckles. Cobb police now believe Boast was responsible for the robbery.
