Officers responded to a theft in progress call around 1:59 p.m. Oct. 12 near Cobb Parkway and Akers Mill Road. Cobb police spokesperson Alicia Chilton said officers got behind the suspected vehicle, which prohibited the suspects from fleeing.
However, that didn’t deter the suspects, as they allegedly began to flee on foot. Chilton said all five suspects were subsequently apprehended and taken into custody.
