Cobb Teen Accused in Fatal Stabbing Indicted on More Charges

Olivia Nicole Smith is charged in the murder of her step-cousin.

MARIETTA, GA -- A Cobb grand jury has made additional indictments against an 18-year-old who is already facing charges that she murdered her step-cousin.

Olivia Nicole Smith was indicted on Thursday on four additional counts in the November 2015 murder of 17-year-old Abbey Hebert, reports 11 Alive.

Police say Smith admitted to stabbing Hebert after telling investigators that both girls had smoked marijuana shortly before they got into an altercation.

Thursday’s grand jury indictments include malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a knife during commission of a felony.

Smith remains in custody at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
