Crash Shuts Down South Cobb Intersection
Smyrna Police say a single car crashed into the traffic lights at the intersection and that it will be closed for at least a couple hours.

SMYRNA, GA — The intersection of South Cobb Drive and Pat Mell Road was shut down Monday morning after a car crashed into the traffic lights there.
Smyrna Police spokesman Sgt. Louis Defense said the crash happened shortly before midnight.
Police were on the scene investigating Monday morning and awaiting crews to repair the traffic lights. The intersection is expected to be shut down until at least 11 a.m., Defense said.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use Atlanta Road or Cobb Parkway to travel south through Smyrna.
