Here are the top three stories in Smyrna-Vinings today:

1. Tomorrow is Food Truck Tuesdays At Taylor-Brawner Park. The popular event will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m. The last two Food Truck Tuesdays of the year are scheduled for Sep. 20 and Sep. 27. There will be quality local food, music, and more. Residents are encouraged to bike and walk to the event due to limited parking. (City of Smyrna)
2. The names of the two Cobb County Sheriff's Office deputies that were killed on Thursday night have been released. Deputies Jonathan Randall Koleski, 42, and Marshall Samuel Ervin Junior, 38, were killed by two individuals while serving arrest warrants. Christopher Cook, 32, and Christopher Golden, 30, were arrested after the shooting. One of the three warrants was for a Smyrna church robbery. (Officer.com)
3. The West Cobb Diner is serving free meals for local law enforcement. The offering is meant to comfort local law enforcement during the grieving process for the Cobb County Sheriff's Office deputies that were killed last week in the line of duty. The free meals will continue until further notice for any law enforcement officer that dines at the establishment. (CBS 46)
