Gas South Moves Customer Care Operations to Cumberland Headquarters
The One Overton Park facility will now house the company's consumer marketing, operations, and customer care groups.

Staff Report
Gas South, one of the Southeast’s leading providers of natural gas, relocated more than 100 customer care employees, previously located in Marietta, to the corporate headquarters at One Overton Park in the Cumberland business district. The customer care team will share a new state-of-the-art work space with the company’s consumer marketing and operations groups.
“This consolidation will further increase our focus on the customer,” said Kevin Greiner, Gas South president and CEO. “We’re adjusting the business to meet the needs of the customer by positioning employees to better respond to their needs.”

The move comes just three years after Gas South insourced its customer care operations.
“We insourced customer care in 2012 to have greater control over the customer experience, which is a critical way that Gas South distinguishes itself as a natural gas marketer,” added Greiner. “This move to bring our customer care operations together with all other Gas South functions will allow for greater collaboration and ultimately lead to a better experience for our customers. Our employees are excited to all be together and under one roof.”

Gas South’s office consolidation comes on the heels of several recent customer service technology improvements. The company maintains a customer-focused culture by continuously improving systems and processes to quickly address customer suggestions and concerns, and to respond to changing market needs.
The company is leasing an additional 27,000 square feet at One Overton Park to accommodate the customer care employees and has extended its lease through early 2025.
