Hello again, everybody! I'm back with your new edition of the Smyrna-Vinings Daily. Let's get this day started off right, with a quick dive into everything you need to know about what's happening in town.

First, today's weather:

A t-storm around in the p.m.. High: 90 Low: 73.

Here are the top three stories today in Smyrna-Vinings:

  1. The world's largest hydrogen fuel blending demonstration was completed last month at Georgia Power's Plant McDonough-Atkinson in Smyrna. Georgia Power teamed up with Mitsubishi Power and Electric Power Research Institute to make the project demonstration happen. (SaportaReport)
  2. Jobs are available now in the Smyrna-Vinings area. Open job positions include remote call center sales agent, account coordinator, medical radiology scheduler, motorsports technical advisor, executive care specialist, operations technician, and more. (Smyrna-Vinings Patch)
  3. Cobb County's gas prices are averaging 15 cents over the state average. Over the past week, Georgia gas prices dropped nearly eight cents statewide – but prices remained at $4.47 for a gallon of regular unleaded on Jul. 4 in Cobb County. (Cobb County Courier)
