COBB COUNTY, GA — A man allegedly claimed two missing dogs were his, but then tried to return them for the $5,000 reward the real owners had posted, reported WGCL-TV.

A Cobb County couple’s two French bulldogs escaped their yard last Monday, JC Banks told the station. Another homeowner found them but gave them to a man who said they were his. He then saw the flyer about a reward so reached out.
