The two men took an undisclosed amount of money from Homewood Suites at 3200 Cobb Parkway in the Cumberland area.

COBB COUNTY, GA -- Two men are accused of robbing a Cumberland-area hotel late Thursday evening in Cobb County. Cobb police investigators were dispatched to the armed robbery call around 8:55 p.m. Nov. 2 at Homewood Suites at 3200 Cobb Parkway.

Police were told that two men entered the establishment and one male subject brandished a screwdriver and demanded cash. The other male subject took the money from the cash drawer "when he was handed it by the employee," the police department said.

Both men fled on foot in an unknown direction. Both are described as black men about 6 feet tall and possibly in their 30's. One male, who was touting the screwdriver, was wearing black sunglasses, black leather, black knit, black shirt and blue jeans. The other subject had a mustache, light beard and a low hair cut. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a hood and black pants.
