Utility: Power Restored to More Than 2,000 in Smyrna

Georgia Power is reporting that virtually all power has been restored in the wake of Wednesday afternoon's outage.

More than 2,100 people were without power for a little over an hour around the Windy Hill Road and Atlanta Road intersections.

The outages came as a series of thunderstorms moved through metro Atlanta, though no exact cause of the power outages has been reported.
