Following the guilty pleas, Cobb County Superior Court Judge Mary E. Staley ordered Taylor to serve 30 years, with 10 in prison and the remainder on probation. Taylor was arrested on Friday and returned to the Cobb County jail after Staley found he had violated the conditions of his bond, according to the DAβs Office.
βResolving this case with a guilty plea provides the victims with finality and prevents them from having to relive their experiences on the witness stand,β ADA Hannah Palmquist said. βJustice was done in this case, not only because the Defendant will serve 10 years in prison, but because the victims will not have to be put through the emotional toll of a trial.β
